ArenaNet recently finished it’s first closed beta test, and is now ready to hold progressively larger events. In February they will invite select press to participate in beta testing, and in March and April will aggressively ramp up the size of the beta test events so that many of us average folks will have a chance to participate. This will eventually lead to a release later this year for Guild Wars 2; all depending on how the beta goes and how many bugs are found by the gamers testing the game.
